Ph.D. researcher Maryam Ghodsvali will host a discussion table at International Conference on ‘Water-Energy-Food Nexus in Cities’ on May 12 in Almere, the Netherlands. She will also present the online serious game she developed for Water-Energy-Food nexus spatial optimization in Brainport Smart District in Helmond, the Netherlands.

For Brainport Smart District, it is crucial to realize a sustainable, circular, and socially cohesive neighborhood that benefits from joint food production, water management, and energy generation. The TU Eindhoven contributed to this by developing a spatial optimization-based serious game that offers an evaluation of different WEF-nexus scenarios.
